Elegant Family Horse Farm Wedding – Prince Edward County Wedding Photographer

Wedding location: Ontario bride family home in Wahldorf Farm in Corbyville.

The story:

Stephen, originally from Prince Edward Island, travelled for his job as a photographer to the City of Toronto. Using a dating app Stephen came across a girl with a bright smile, a Gemologist who use to work in the iconic luxury jewellery house, Tiffany & Co. that led her to Toronto to start her own business as a Dimond Concierge (Bijoux by Amy). Together they built a home in Toronto and Prince Edward Island and continue to travel between both homes through-out the year.

Stephen and Amy love visiting the big apple, New York City! Stephen organized a secret photographer to capture his proposal to Amy next to Jane’s Carousel in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Amy still feels New York holds a special piece of her heart and is one of her favourite city’s.

The wedding took place on Amy’s parents family horse farm where her grandfather owned the property and holds a strong sentimental meaning to Amy. The morning started in an Air BnB church converted home with Stephen’s 4 brothers. Stephen also has three sisters! Amy has three older brothers and for both Amy and Stephen family is the most important thing for them. Getting ready with Amy she wanted a couple first looks before the ceremony. One with her dad and one with her soon to be husband in the apple orchard where Amy’s late grandfather would spend many hours picking fresh fruit. The excitement and emotions of both moments where very visible by the reactions on their faces. Many sweet tender moments between her parents and Stephen’s first look.

The ceremony was extra special because Amy’s mother is an ordained minister. There were special meaningful moments that her mom was able to share with family and friends. After the ceremony the couple was able to enjoy cocktail hour with guest. They served oyster straight from Stephen’s hometown in PEI. Family members helped serving by shucking and really giving guest that East Coast food experience. The horses enjoyed the guest feeding them carrots too!

Into the evening was a casual rustic barn buffet and the COOLEST live band ( Southbound Soul) really had the crowed partying right up till the evening sparklers and fireworks. A perfect way to end a magical and romantic evening.
